About

Technical program manager, builder, and operator.

I'm Winnie Ma. By day, I work as a Technical Program Manager at Microsoft. On my own time, I build products from scratch and keep chasing the kind of ideas that are useful in the real world.

The work that fits me best usually starts with ambiguity. I like taking something fuzzy, turning it into a working experience, and pressure-testing whether it solves a real problem.

What I work on

Program leadership with a builder mindset.

My Microsoft work has centered on compliance, governance, and cross-functional delivery. I like projects that touch engineering, operations, business, and user experience at the same time.

  • Technical program management
  • AI products and internal tooling
  • Compliance, tax, and governance programs
  • 0 to 1 product development

How I build

Useful over flashy.

I care about products that lower friction, build confidence, or remove repetitive work. The shape changes from project to project, but the test is always the same: does this make someone's life easier in a way they can actually feel?

  • Start from a real user problem
  • Prototype quickly and make the thing tangible
  • Keep the experience simple enough to trust
