Photography tool

InstaFit

I love photography, and when I wanted to share shots on Instagram, I kept running into the same problem: my photos never fit the post format cleanly.

I was manually resizing everything in Canva first, and after seeing that even polished camera-shot posts like Taylor Swift's still need this treatment, I decided to build a one-button solution. There was no baked-in Instagram fix and no free, ad-free tool that did the whole job cleanly. So I made one with three prompts total. It runs entirely in the browser, with no images uploaded to any server. If you know me, this project makes perfect sense.

Compliance AI Agent

  • Prototyped and developed an internal privacy, SOX, and tax compliance chatbot that saves the privacy team 1200 hours per year answering questions with SQL and Python, with ongoing engineering work expanding it into other compliance fields.
  • Developed a data transformation program in Azure Logic Apps to process 5000+ rows of data across 6 APIs each quarter.
  • Automated high-risk SOX control monitoring, reducing audit toil and improving reporting accuracy.

Tax Governance

  • Led cross-functional teams across engineering, compliance, business, UI/UX, and operations to improve global Tax ID collection and build a compliant e-reporting pipeline, helping avert up to $5M per year in fines from the Australian Taxation Office.
  • Delivered the top-ranked finance feature by resolving invoice rounding errors, enabling subtotal-level tax calculation, and expanding Tax ID collection to satisfy Japanese regulations while supporting $2B in annual transactions.

Trade Screening Governance

  • Launched a unified customer portal for real-time Trade Screening in China Sovereign Cloud, safeguarding $1B in annual transactions while supporting compliance with U.S. trade law and market expansion in China.
  • Used SQL and Power BI to analyze bad customer input patterns and prioritize key fixes, then partnered with engineering to add API and frontend validation checks that improved data accuracy for 100K Partner Center and 700M WebDirect subscribers globally.
